ABSTRACT CHARACTERISTICS

• Title: The title must be in uppercase and should not exceed 25 words. • Body: The maximum length is 2,700 characters (approximately 400 words). • Authors: all authors of the communication must be listed. The first author must be registered for the conference and must be the presenter. His/her e-mail address, institutional affiliation, city, and country must be filled in. This information is mandatory. • Abstract, must include the following headings (the maximum length will be 400 words):

Note that the registration data, as well as the proposal itself, can be modified up until the submission deadline. Abstracts that do not comply with these guidelines will be rejected.

PRESENTATION OF COMMUNICATIONS

ALL COMMUNICATIONS MUST BE SENT IN ADVANCE TO THE TECHNICAL SECRETARIAT.

Poster Presentations

Posters accepted for presentation will be displayed throughout the congress and presented on the date and time previously communicated by the Technical Secretariat to the corresponding authors.

The poster sessions will be moderated, so authors must attend the assigned session to defend their work before the moderators and attendees. Each author will have 2–3 minutes for the presentation and 2 minutes for discussion.

For this edition, presentations will be in digital format, so the poster must be sent to the Technical Secretariat before September 26, using the provided template and naming the PDF file as follows: Panel number + poster title.

To download a template, click here.

Oral Presentations

Communications accepted as oral communication will be scheduled in 10-minute slots, with 7 minutes for the presentation and 3 minutes for discussion. The chair(s) will be very strict with the timing to avoid delays in the scheduled sessions.

All presentations must be emailed or delivered on a USB drive to the Technical Secretariat on site (at least 24 hours before the session begins).

The use of personal computers will not be allowed for presentations. If you require any special assistance (e.g., videos, file compatibility, etc.), you must inform the Technical Secretariat of the Congress.

– After submitting the corresponding summary according to the communication submission guidelines, the author must contact the technical secretary at to submit their video after approval by the evaluation committee.
– Videos promoted by companies, displaying industrial logos, acknowledging sponsorship, or promoting commercial products will not be accepted.
– Whenever possible, generic names of drugs should be used instead of their commercial names. – Brief displays of instruments are allowed, but should last no longer than 10 continuous seconds.

ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF RECEIPT

You will receive an email confirming the successful receipt of your submission shortly.
If you do not receive it after some time, please contact the technical secretariat.

EVALUATION OF COMMUNICATIONS

All communications will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee (for which it is mandatory to select the main topic during the submission process), and resolutions will be sent to the authors as soon as possible. If accepted, the notification will indicate in which format it has been selected (oral, poster or video) and, if applicable, the expected date and time of the presentation.

Communications will be classified for oral presentation, video or poster based on the authors’ preferences, the Selection Committee’s criteria, and the availability of space and time. Abstracts will be selected for presentation as oral communication, video, or poster based on their scientific content.

ACCEPTANCE OR REJECTION

The acceptance or rejection of the submissions will be notified by email to the authors, along with information about whether their presentation will be in oral, video or digital poster format. The Scientific Committee reserves the right to change the presentation format. Subsequently, the date and time of their presentation will also be communicated via email. The content will be available in the congress App.

PUBLICATION

The authors allow the Organizers to publish the abstracts in the congress App.
